After having lunch, we drive towards north west of kathmandu valley and find peace and prayers on the little hillock of Swyambhunath Stupa. Swayambhu literally means “self-existent one” and popularly known as monkey temple, we circumambulate stupa clock wise and have panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. And then proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore incredibly diverse, historic city with amazing architecture, exquisite wood carvings and metal craft. Kastamandap; Kal Bhairab-the God of destruction; temple of Akash Bhairab-the God of rain, “The Living Goddess -Kumari” residence lies nearby ,we visit the residence and learn more about the history, tradition and cultural celebration she participates.
