Kathmandu valley comprises of three historical cities: Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. These cities are renowned for art, architecture, medieval temples and palaces having a history that speaks of gods and goddess surrounded by myths and legends. Within the close vicinity seven world Heritage Sites are located; Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan Temple, Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.

Kathmandu Valley is known as a melting pot for various cultures, religions, and arts and crafts. The guided tour leads you to sacred pilgrimage sites, historical monuments, architectural masterpieces and exquisite culture and traditions. The guided tours begin with a visit to holiest Hindu shrine Pashupatath Temple on the banks of Bagmati River. The north east of Pashupatinath Temple- 2 km by road resides a colossal stupa Boudhanth. This fragrance of incense surrounds the unique octagonal Mandala with 108 images of the of the Buddha set into the niches around the huge structure. After having lunch, we drive towards north west of kathmandu valley and find peace and prayers on the little hillock of Swyambhunath Stupa. Swayambhu literally means “self-existent one” and popularly known as monkey temple,  we circumambulate stupa clock wise and have panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. And then proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore incredibly diverse, historic city with amazing architecture, exquisite wood carvings and metal craft. Kastamandap; Kal Bhairab-the God of destruction; temple of Akash Bhairab-the God of rain, “The Living Goddess -Kumari” residence lies nearby ,we visit the residence and learn more about the history, tradition and cultural celebration she participates.
