Nagarkot lying just 14 kilometer of Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the finest sunrise and sunset point for Himalayas. Situated at the altituede of 2,175m above sea level, Nagarkot is most popular tourist destination in the outskirt of Kathmandu Valley. It is the short, easy gateway seeking mountain view in leisure, comfort and quiet. During sunrise, the sun rays emerges from darkness and strike Himalayas with golden rays, the moment is much mesmerizing and magnificent and never to miss. The Himalayas spreads from Dhaulagiri to Kanchanjunga in east- west direction with distinctive sight of Manaslu (8,463m), Ganesh Himal (7,111m), and Langtang (7,246m). And this would be the great opportunity to have the first glance of Mount Everest as well.
Our guide with private vehicle wil pick you up from your hotel in early morning at 4: 30 am; depending upon the sunrise time. Driving 32 km along Bhaktapur Durbar Square gets us to Nagarkot, a renowned 360 degree panoramic view station. Nagarkot View Tower offers amazing scenery, landscapes, lush forest of Shivapuri National Park, monastery and a great outlook of Kathmandu Valley. Having a glistering views of Himalayas, we stretch back to hotel and have breakfast and enjoy the scenery. The trip extension can also be done with hiking upto Changunarayan Temple and visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square; which would be provided on request.
