Gokyo Valley treks presents an exceptional opportunity to witness gigantic mountain range over 8000m including the highest Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu and the Ngozumpa Glacier: the largest glacier in the Nepal Himalayas. The specialty of this trek is we explore emerald   green lake with the scenery of enormous ice ridge between Cho Oyu , and Gyachung  glacier. Moreover during this trek we sight over protected flora and fauna of Sagarmatha National Park.

Our trip  to Gokyo Valley begins with an exhilarating flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. We trek from Lukla to Phakding on the same day and walk to Namche on other day. Namche Bazzar is known as “ The Gateway to Everest” where we acclimate and observe  glorious mountain range view from Hotel Everest View. The trail ahead divides the route; one leads to the Gokyo and other to Everest Base Camp. We trek from Namche to Phorse and finally reach Machhermo. Five hour walk from Machharmo we reach Gokyo after climbing Gokyo Ri which is famous for sunrise and sunset views. Gokyo valley offers scenic beauty of mountain range  over Gokyo Lake. We move to Dole from Gokyo to return back to Namche.

  • All the airport and hotel transfer as per the itinerary.
  • Twin sharing accommodation at 3 Star hotel in Kathmandu.
  • Best available local lodge to lodge accommodation (twin sharing) during the trek; we provide rooms with private bathrooms and hot shower at Phakding, Namche and Lukla.
  • Essential trekking permits and official paper works.
  • Sagarmatha National Park Fee and Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural Municipality Entrance Permit.
  • Domestic flight tickets Kathmandu to Lukla and return.
  • Surface Transportation from Kathmandu to Manthali and return. [Private transfer at 3 am is provided on request and costs USD 120 each way)
  • Welcome dinner with Cultural program at Kathmandu.
  • Trekkers Healing Massage of 30 minutes after the trek :A signature massage therapy of the spa, this therapy is specially designed to provide relief ,relaxation and ease the stressed muscles after a strenuous trekking or hiking activity.
  • Necessary equipment during the trek (Sleeping bag, duffle bag if necessary).
  • Government and local taxes.
  • Meals, accommodation, insurance, and other expenses of the trekking crew.
  • An experienced fluent English speaking guide trained and licensed by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation.
  • Assistant guide (6 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and porters (2 trekkers: 1 porter).
  • Consultation, packing and preparation support.
  • Comprehensive First Aid Kit.

Trip Price Excludes:

 

  • Any meal during the trip. (Note : Meal costs about $5 – $8 dollar per item depending on the place where you eat).
  • Extra night hotel accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late checkout, the early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Entrance fees for sightseeing points.
  • Alcoholic beverages, bottle mineral water, soft drinks and snack foods.
  • Any Private Expenses (phone calls, laundry, battery recharge, bar bills, porters, bottle or boiled water, shower, heater, etc.)
  • Tips for helping crews during tour: driver, guide and assistant.
  • Rescue and travel insurance.
  • Optional Attractions that are not specified in the itinerary.
