Our 1 Night 2 Days Kalinchowk Bhagawati tour package takes you through the beautiful Kuri village and summit you to an elevation of 3,840 meters where Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple stands to an elevation of 3,842 meters. This Hindu shrine has great believes and importance to pilgrimage from Nepal and India. There are two ways to get to this temple from Kuri Village, either you will take a 5-minute cable car ride or one and half hour up hill hike. Devotees usually take breakfast after visiting Kalinchowk Temple. Likewise, the spiritual delight as well as panoramic view of the green hills, beautiful Gaurisankhar Himalaya, Worlds Highest Shrine Mt. Everest, greenery of Chaurikharka etc are seen from the Temple.

Kalinchowk Cable Car 

The third cable car service in Nepal is in Kalinchowk, which connects the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple through Kuri village since November 2018. With four gondolas it has the capacity of carrying 10 persons each time. Basically Kalinchowk Cable car cost per Nepali adult is NPR 500 up/down and NPR 1000 for Foreigners. Students as well as Elderly and differently able gets a discounts of 25% where as its free for child below 3 yrs.

Skiing in Kalinchowk

Skiing in Kalinchowk is possible to do in an extra cost. It is seasonal skiing that operates during snowfall from end of December till mid of Feb.

Day 1

Kathmandu to Kuri Village

At early morning without having breakfast we will head towards Kalinchown Kuri from Kathmandu by Jeep or bus or bike. It usually takes 6-7 hours to reach Kuri Village. We will have lunch on the way to Kalinchowk, either at Mude or Sukute beach. Overnight we will stay at Kuri Village, enjoy campfire, barbecue, singing and dancing.

Day 2

Visit to Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple and return to Kathmandu

Early morning the next day, after having breakfast(Pilgrims usually visit Temple in fasting) but its personal choice we will either hike uphill or ride on a cable car to reach Kalinchowk Bhagawati temple. Exploring around for a while, we will return back to Kuri. We will head to Kathmandu after having lunch at Kuri or Charikot. (It actually depends upon the breakfast timing).
